A shared reading space for small groups - built for the book club that never has time to meet.
Shelf gives 2–5 friends reading the same book a private, dedicated space to stay connected as they read, not just at a scheduled meeting. Drop highlights as you go, see where everyone is, react to what catches their eye. The conversation happens in the margins, asynchronously, at whatever pace works.

Shared progress tracking — Everyone's page count is visible at a glance. No need to ask where anyone is.
Highlights as you read — Paste or type a passage, tag the page, add a note. Your friends see it in the feed as you go.
Emoji reactions — Quick reactions keep the conversation alive without requiring anyone to write a full response.
Private shelves — One shelf per book, invite only. Everyone else stays out.
Share with anyone — Finished a shelf? Share it as a link with anyone, no app required.
